Alex has been in the allied health industry for 10 years. Alex completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University while managing a clinic of physiotherapists in Greenslopes. After moving to the Wynnum Manly area it made sense to open her clinic here.
Alex treats all musculoskeletal disorders including sports injuries, aches and pains, tendinopathies and headaches, as well as developing programs for osteoporosis management.
She has a special interest ergonomics and workplace wellness programs and has worked closely with distribution centres, steel factories and recruitment agencies.
Alex uses a combination of hands-on techniques, combined with exercise-based approaches to treat and rehabilitate
Flavio is an experienced clinical myotherapist in Brisbane, where he has completed his Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy). Flavio’s assessment and treatment focuses on functional impairments in muscle, fascia, nerve and joints.
His objective is to make clients understand how chronic pain and biomechanical dysfunction are usually manifestations of poor movement patterns caused by past injuries or a lifetime of adaptation.
Flavio uses a vast array of hands-on treatment techniques including electrotherapeutic dry needling, spinal and peripheral joint mobilisation, as well as providing individualised exercise/rehabilitation protocols. His objective is assisting people to getting back to their favourite sport or activities, no matter if the patient is an elite athlete or a weekend warrior.
After several advanced professional development courses, Flavio’s goals is to give you the tools to be able to move better and live the life you want without pain.
Stephanie brings 14 years of dedicated physiotherapy experience to her clients. With expertise treating various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, she is passionate about addressing sporting injuries, guiding individuals through post-surgery rehabilitation and providing specialised care for concerns such as headaches, pelvic pain, shoulder, spinal and knee injuries.
In addition to her broad expertise, she has been a physiotherapist for numerous rugby union and touch footy teams. Her involvement with these teams has honed her understanding of the unique challenges athletes face in these sports.
Stephanie takes pride in offering her services to clients under the NDIS, Workcover and DVA ensuring accessibility to quality of care for everyone.
In her spare time Stephanie likes to be active with her young family can can often be found around the bayside area, walking her Border Collie around Wynnum and Manly.
Maddy graduated from ACU and has been working with local sporting teams for the last 12 months.
Maddy works with all musculoskeletal concerns from acute sporting injuries, to chronic discomforts.
As a triathlete, she also brings a wealth of knowledge that can help you to adapt your training program to achieve your goals.
Dat graduated from a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2017 and Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2019.
